Steven Parker has been an attorney for almost 25 years. During that time he has represented hundreds of clients in both Oregon and California in a wide variety of cases. He is a graduate of Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland and the University of Oregon, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He moved to San Francisco shortly thereafter and earned his law degree in San Francisco at Golden Gate University School of Law in 1988. Later that year he earned his first law license to practice in California. After practicing law in San Francisco for 12 years at two high profile plaintiff’s firms representing injury victims throughout California, he returned to Portland to open his own firm. Since opening his own office in downtown Portland in 2002 he has expanded his knowledge of many areas of law with an eye toward efficient use of time, money and human resources. His goal has always been to give personal attention to the needs of his clients and to work toward the best possible outcome while keeping costs both reasonable and transparent.
Steven pledges to his clients his time, experience and commitment to vindicating their legal rights. He knows that many people do not seek legal representation because they want to employ a lawyer, but because they need help. He considers it a core function of an attorney to work through a legal problem with honesty, diligence, integrity and recognition of his client’s essential concerns. He strives to zealously advocate his client’s case regardless of the opponent and to emphasize the justness of his client’s cause.
